JobPath is an innovative and exciting new employment support programme, commissioned by the Department of Social Protection (DSP), aimed at helping the long-term unemployed and those furthest from the labour market back into work. The Government’s Pathways to Work (2012) policy statement outlined DSPs commitment to tackling unemployment and fuelling Ireland’s economic recovery.
JobPath is designed to complement activities of Local Employment Service providers and other initiatives such as Job Bridge and, SOLAS.
