Seetec Ireland Remains Focused on Helping People to Achieve their Work Ambitions Despite the Covid-19 Pandemic

News 18 November 2020

The recent confirmation that our JobPath service will continue to support new clients throughout 2021 is welcome news.

Our 200-strong team in Ireland and five Irish partner companies have responded to the Covid-19 challenge this year. We continue to support our clients remotely by phone and online in keeping with Government guidelines. This is also an opportunity to thank our clients for working with us to adapt to the current restrictions. It remains a challenging time for our clients, their families and communities impacted by the pandemic.

One of the primary focuses of our business is to contribute to the social and economic recovery from Covid-19 by supporting more clients to achieve their work ambitions. Through our close links with employers and despite the additional challenges our clients are facing, we have helped over 3,000 of them to start jobs since March.

The hard work and dedication of our employee owners has delivered results. 33,000 clients have been supported into work since July 2015. We will also continue to offer solutions to employers to meet their ever-changing needs.

Karl Milne, Executive Director of Seetec Ireland, commented:

Our team and partners have shown great resilience and commitment this year. Clients have said the calls they are receiving from our advisors are invaluable as they continue to look for opportunities in a job market made more challenging because of the pandemic. It is a testament to our teams that in these unprecedented times we have supported so many long-term unemployed clients into work. JobPath contributed to the jobs recovery from the last recession and our focus at Seetec Ireland is to do so again.
