Meath Traveller Employment Initiative (MTEI) helps Travellers find work in the Meath area

We offer free employment support to all members of the Meath Travelling Community from 18 years of age and over. Our job service is flexible and supportive. We consider your life circumstances and listen to what you want and need.

Our tailor-made programme helps you identify your career plans and achieve your employment goals. We do this through one-on-one coaching sessions.

The MTEI service includes:

  • 1:1 career coaching and personalised career planning.
  • Help with job applications and CVs.
  • Interview coaching.
  • Progression into education, training, enterprise or volunteering.
  • Support to transition into employment (Social Welfare payments, tax, HR).
  • In-work support.
  • Representation to local jobs and businesses.

What our service can offer participants:

  • Support to find and start employment.
  • Continued in-employment support.
  • Signposting for advice on self-employment.
