Seetec Partners With Jobcare for the Intreo Partner National Employment Service

News 31 August 2023

Seetec has embarked on a new partnership with Jobcare as part of their Intreo Partner National Employment Service that allows jobseekers to access intensive employability support that may accelerate their progress to employment.

Since 1994, Jobcare has assisted those affected by long-term unemployment in Dublin City and beyond. Their innovative programmes have helped jobseekers overcome barriers to employment leveraging strong employer relationships in the city. They offer intensive training solutions, in person and online, to prepare job seekers for a competitive contemporary jobs market.

Jobcare’s Jobseekers programme will offer employment support training in 13 sessions over a four-week period for Seetec clients who are ready and able to commit to this intensive, fast-paced programme.

Seetec’s Intreo Partner National Employment Service clients will also be eligible for their Jobnet programme, should that better match their needs.

Executive Director Karl Milne said: “Jobcare were a partner of choice for us based on their outstanding delivery of employment support for the last 30 years. We have worked hard to find a model with them that offers the best service to our National Employment Service clients. Not only do the social values of our organisations align, but the synergy and overlap between our organisations ensure this partnership will progress our client’s journey towards full-time sustainable employment with a high level of tailored support.”

Jobcare Paul Mooney Co-Founder & Chief Executive said: “With the change in the Public Employment Service contracting landscape in 2022, we were looking for a partner who we believed matched our values and objectives. We were delighted to partner with Seetec as part of their National Employment Service offering. It was vital to us, that we linked up with an organisation whose commitment to jobseekers is as embedded in their DNA as ours is.”

Seetec has placed partnerships with smaller Irish organisations at the heart of our service delivery model. Our purpose is to empower people to discover and realise their unique potential, with every life changed advancing fairer, safer and more prosperous communities. We partner with like-minded organisations to deliver these goals.
